About Us:

Welcome to Blue Mountain Outfitters.com. I was born and raised in New Mexico. I started big-game hunting at the age of eleven, and have been at it ever since - hunting with both a rifle and a bow.

What makes us unique:

I started guiding in 1982 and established Blue Mountain Outfitters in 1993. I am a New Mexico registered outfitter, a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Mule Deer Foundation, the NRA, and a North American Hunt Club approved outfitter.

About our trips:

This is a unique opportunity to hunt wild, free ranging Oryx without having to go to Africa. These hunts take place in south central New Mexico in November and January. This is not a typically physically demanding hunt. Success runs close to 100%. Licenses are through a draw. We also offer hunts for elk, mule deer, antelope, and merriams turkey in beautiful New Mexico. We provide all of your food and lodging during your hunt. Our camps consist of wall tents. The hunter's tents are equipped with cots, foam pads, heaters and lanterns. Three home-style meals per day will be prepared and served in the cook/dining tent by a full time cook. There will also be a variety of snack and beverages available.I have all the permits and insurance required to operate in New Mexico. My crew is experienced, hard working and friendly. We take pride in what we do and our goal is to provide every client with a successful and enjoyable hunt.
