About Us:

Hunt in the center of North America. Fish in untouched lakes and rivers. Being in the geographic center of North America, Winnipeg Int. Airport (your point of arrival) is easily accessed by most major airlines from the USA. Most clients from Michigan drive up in 10-15 hours. We move our camps to where the game or fish are most abundant and provide a quality experience at a very economical price.

What makes us unique:

Want to bag a big buck? Manitoba, Canada is ideal habitat for BIG Whitetail bucks and MASSIVE Black Bear. Come see why Heron Creek Outfitters is the destination choice for Whitetail deer and Black Bear hunters. Hunt large bodied, heavy antlered Whitetail Deer from carpeted, heated, radio equipped tower stands, located on food plots or travel routes. We hunt area 23 on the South side of Riding Mountain National Park. The terrain is rolling hills, approximately 50% agricultural and 50% bush, which is ideal habitat to grow big bucks.

About our trips:

Most years we will kill one Buck over 170 and our average is usually 150. Our rates are geared for true trophy hunter as we don't just go through the motions for six days and take you back to the airport. You can stay until you kill or wound a buck. All hunts are on private property unless we find a real trophy on public land the hunter could hunt on public land at his choice. We don't have our own bear area but we can arrange a bear hunt through one of several outfitters we work with in 3 different areas depending on the type of bear the client wants. We hunt the area around Riding Mountain for Blonde, Cinnamon, and Chocolate bears.

Our history:

We hunt an area near Thompson, MB for true trophy B & C Bears. The outfitter has personnallly killed a 23 1/2 year old bear and the guide at Thompson got a 29 1/2 year old bear for a client. It goes without saying that alot of bears in Manitoba are dying of old age.
