About Us:

In BC the guide concession can be found on the rugged open Pacific side of Vancouver Island. The guide area is a primeval setting of river valleys, old growth forests, fjords surrounded by mountains and open beaches pounded by surf. The area teems with a myriad of sea life and water fowl. Huge, blocky coastal Black Bears and majestic Roosevelt Elk are the primary species hunted. Our concession is 2,500 square miles and has over 50 grizzly-free salmon river valleys on the northwest side of Vancouver Island.

What makes us unique:

The Black Bear hunting on the northwest half of Vancouver Island is unsurpassed by any in North America due to superior genetics and the densest population per square mile. An abundant food supply, a temperate rain forest climate with a long growing season, no grizzly predation and superior genetics all contribute to the remarkable size of bears. The average square is between 6 1/2' to 7 1/2' with 19" to 21" skulls. Simply put, there aren't any other locations that have greater success rates or age of bears harvested.

About our trips:

We use both custom-designed ocean boats and 4-wheel ATVs as the main means of transportation during our hunts. Camp accommodations consist of heated tent cabins with full shower facilities strategically situated throughout the guide area. With this combination of equipment and camps we are not only able to maximize our clients' hunting opportunities, we are also able to provide a true wilderness experience as well.

Our history:

Our Black Bear hunts are not physically challenging, especially with some of our custom-designed equipment, but will involve some walking. As such they are ideal for two buddies hunting together, the mature hunter, or the ardent hunter who is seeking a huge Black Bear. The Roosevelt Elk hunt is more of a mental than a physical challenge due to the dense forest habitat in which the Elk live.
