About Us:

Hi, I'm Tanner Wildes and I'm a full time Wisconsin musky guide in northern Wisconsin's famous Hayward / Winter area. I am a fully licensed and insured fishing guide specializing in musky fishing. I guide on a number of different lakes in the Hayward/Winter area to help provide you with the best possible trip, both in numbers and BIG FISH. I also provide Flambeau river float trips for a unique and enjoyable Wisconsin muskie fishing experience.

What makes us unique:

Some of the lakes that are commonly fished in Wisconsin are the famous Chippewa Flowage, Lac Court Oreilles, Grindstone, Spider Chain, LakeWinter, along with a lot of smaller lakes, and the FlambeauRiver. Learn techniques for muskie fishing: effective casting for muskies, trolling for muskies (long & short line), proper boat control, night fishing & trolling.

About our trips:

Your day on the water will start with meeting at a location convenient to you, and you will either ride with Tanner or follow him to the lake where the fish have been biting. You will fish from the front of Tanners roomy 2007 Ranger 620VS, powered with a 250HP Mercury Pro XS. Tanner will teach you everything that you will need to know to make your day successful and the knowledge to fish in the same manner on your own. The hours of fishing are dictated by the fish, fishing when the fish are most active. A day of fishing with Tanner may include fishing a number of lakes in a day, and travel time does not count as part of your fishing time for the day. A full day of fishing is a FULL day, Tanner does not "double book" days or limits you to 8 hours on the water. At the end of the day, you will leave the boat knowing more about musky fishing, to help make you a better angler.

Our history:

We provide all boat & transportation expenses, all necessary lures, and if necessary, custom rods & reels. We can also specialize in trophy hunts or numbers fishing with the possibility of a trophy; and fishing with young anglers and beginners. Can't find lodging? Let us know - we would love to help.
