Settle back in this quiet camp of simplicity at its best. Three beautiful cabins, each with covered porch, outside grill and a view worth looking at! No need to feel crowded, as this is the sole camp on the lake. Your hosts, Ingi and Cindy Bjornson, invite you to drive in to this camp, nestled along the peaceful shores of Neso Lake in northern Manitoba, where lurks beneath its surface pike, walleye and perch. What makes us unique:

If solitude and a truly remote experience is what you're after, how about trying a fly-out fishing option at our outpost on Rothstein Lake? Take a 15 minute flight north of Snow Lake, MB, and let the quiet of the land envelope you. The only human contact you'll have is perhaps a jet flying overhead at 40,000 feet! If paddling is in your blood, we have canoe and kayak rentals. Try a relaxing paddle around the lake, or, if more adventure interests you, consider the Mistik Creek, from Naosap Lake to our camp on Neso Lake. A 26 mile trip down a winding creek with a series of untouched lakes featuring good walleye fishing.

About our trips:

Neso Lake offers fabulous northern pike fishing. It has wild rice growing in some shallow bays where the large pike like to spawn in the spring. Walleye are not as numerous here, but they can be found. There is no fear of becoming windbound on this 3 mile long lake, as camp is never far away. Fly 25 miles north of the town of Snow Lake, Manitoba to our spring bear hunting area, which we also use for fly-out fishing and trapping every year. Fish for northern pike and walleye during the day (catch and consume only), and hunt in the evenings, where you will be delivered to your solid hunting stands by boat. We have 7 tags, so you'll have to book well in advance!

Our history:

Our three spacious cabins feature full size range, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Two of the cabins have ramps for wheelchair or walker access. The kitchens were designed for women, so men are not allowed to complain! Each cabin has two bedrooms, and all bedding is provided. Two cabins sleep four people each and the other sleeps six. The living room offers comfortable furniture, with a futon for any kids or extra visitors, and a TV/VCR for rainy days. The modern bathrooms have showers, and towels are provided. Facilities at Neso Lake include boat and motor rentals, canoe and kayak rentals, fishing licenses, boat launch and docking and fish filleting - yes, we can get those y-bones out of the pike for you!
