About Us:

Welcome to the Alberta Whitetails website. Our operation is located near Athabasca, Alberta, Canada, approximately 90 minutes north of Edmonton. Our hunting area is blessed with a combination of rolling hills, agricultural farmland and large forested wilderness areas. It is prime habitat for whitetail deer and is well known for producing record class bucks.

Alberta Whitetails is a small operation and we place our emphasis on the quality of the hunt rather than the quantity of hunters. This philosophy allows us to provide flexibility, personalized service and outstanding adventures to serious deer hunting enthusiasts.

About our trips:

We like to hunt deer with an element of surprise, therefore we vary our hunting methods depending on the conditions of that particular day. We may decide to utilize tower blinds, ground blinds, still hunting, rattling or a combination of these methods. Normally, we have 2 hunters per week, but we can accommodate a maximum of 4 hunters at a time. A limited number of hunters each week allows our clients to have more input into their own hunting experience and gives us the flexibility to provide you with more personalized service, such as a custom video coverage of your hunt. **We Still Have 2 Tags Available For This Year Contact Us for Special Pricing**

Our history:

For the past 35 years, hunting has been a way of life for us. Glenn is an avid outdoorsman and has hunted numerous big game species, including mule deer, black bears, elk, moose, antelope and his overall favorite and the most challenging big game animal, the whitetail deer. He hunts with a rifle and bow. Over the years Glenn has also worked as a hunting guide for a number of big game outfitters in Alberta. Through these experiences we have developed a knowledge of what hunters should expect from a guided hunt. We also know what we, personally, would expect from an outfitter and have incorporated these ideas into our operation.
