About Us:

We specialize in fair-chase hunting Canada Moose, Black Bear, Mule Deer, Mountain Lion (cougar) and Lynx where you can use rifle, bow, black powder, or the legal weapon of your choice. Lyle & Jim have 50+ years of collective hunting experience in British Columbia, with many years of guiding time as well, and are the exclusive guide outfitters for their area.

What makes us unique:

Our Bull to Cow ratio is one of the highest in the province and we offer all inclusive combination hunts, giving you the opportunity to hunt for secondary animals as well. Our Fall Moose hunts include deer & wolf and are 10 day hunts, with part of the 1st and 10th day being travel and setting up time. In the Spring, our black bear hunts for either 1 or 2 bears and include wolf and are 7 day hunts, again having part of the 1st & 7th day being travel time. Our 2006 Spring Bear season went well with 100% opportunity.

About our trips:

Typically, we hunt clear-cuts, open side hills, poplar bottoms or one of the many lakes, swamps, rivers and creeks. We have many trails cut into these prime hunting areas. Over the past couple of years, we have taken Moose in the 50+ range with a few having drop tines and other dagger points. 2006 gave us 90% opportunity on our large-bodied Bull Moose.We, at Batnuni Lake Guides & Outfitters make no guarantee on harvesting of game, even though it is our main objective. However, we do guarantee good food, good accommodation and above all, a good, honest, effort.
