About Us:

Chibougamau Outfitters is one of Quebecs finest hunting and fishing destinations. Our cottages are located between 2 lakes that are full of hungry pike and walleye. With over 400 square kilometers of hunting area, our bear hunts are some of the best you will find in Quebec.

What makes us unique:

Chibougamau outfitter has 7 beautiful cottages built in 2001-2002. The cottages have a nice view on Laganiere lake. They are all fully furnished and comfortable. All of our cottages contain propane stoves and refregerators. We provide the charcoal and all the necessary equipment to prepare your meals. solar energy is used for running water and for the lighting in each room.

About our trips:

The bear hunting here at Chibougamau OUtfitters is first class. We have 12 different bait sites to accomadate any hunter. All the sites are equipped with covered watchtowers to conceal each hunter. Our bait sites also have automatic food distributors. Our bear hunting area consists of over 400 square kilometers of prime bear habitat. Guide, transportation, one of our cottages, and cleaning the bear are all included in your hunt. The cottages are situated between 2 lakes, Laganiere lake and Canots lake. We also have other lakes accessible that have no or very little fishing pressure. The walleyes here average between 1.5 pounds to 2.5 pounds, and the pike average 6 pounds to 8 pounds, with the occasional monster. The quota is 8 walleye and 10 pikes by permit.
