As Managing Director of APOS let me today categorically state that Sundown Outfitting is a member of APOS in good standing. APOS holds no disciplinary or complaint files that would indicate that Sundown Outfitting was currently anything other than a reputable outfitting company that would be recommended to any NRA hunter desiring a hunt in Alberta.

I did a rifle hunt with Frank in 2006 and killed a 170 class non typical. Saw over 30 bucks a day with at least 5 shooters per day. Went again archery in 2007 and killed a smaller 140 class buck on the last day. I had plenty of opportunity on much larger bucks just couldnt close the deal. I am now booking 2008 archery with Frank. I can't say enough about the guys at Sundown Outfitters, they will bust their asses to make your hunt successful. Both hunts were far above any expectations. How can you bash an outfitter that averages 170+inches both rifle and archery mule deer. Both times I was hunting with Frank he had return clients in camp, one guy was on his 10th year and the other guy was 5th year. These guys are first class, the accomodations are fine(cabin with shower and flush toilet)and the quality of mule deer are as good as anywhere!!! I have no knowledge of the whitetail hunting, but I did see some monsters while mule deer hunting.

I hunted with Frank in the 2007 archery mule deer season, and had a awesome experience. I booked the hunt because 2 of my friends rifle hunted with Frank in 2005 and took 2 great bucks, you can see the hunts on Steve's Outdoor Adventures, not to mention you can also watch Tim Wells on Relentless pursuit II take a 195" buck with his bow hunting with Sundown. I took a average 4x4 that grossed 160 3/8" with my bow in 2007. The ranch house we stayed in had all the ammenities of home. I think that Dan Reeds has Sundown confused with some other outfitter. I've booked for 2008 with a buddy already.

I have been on many mule deer hunts in North America and been in several camps.I have never been with a more dedicated group of guides that will work for you from start to finish. 2008 was my second hunt with Sundown, and I have rebooked for next season as well. I have never seen as many quality mule deer in one area ever! Keep up the managment.
