About Us:

Tulloch Creek Ranch is rich with the legends of the West. William Clark, of the famous Lewis and Clark Expedition, camped two miles south of the Ranch in July of 1806, exploring the area that would someday be the same location of our Ranch. A year later, the area’s first trading post was opened by a member of the expedition where the Big Horn and Yellowstone Rivers converge. The Battle of Little Big Horn took place just south of the Ranch, and General Alfred Terry’s troops bivouacked here en route to the battle. In June 1876, General Gibbon, along with 450 troops, crossed the Ranch heading south to aid General Custer in a battle Sitting Bull had already won.
