About Us:

Our goal at Natural Wonders is to ensure that each and every one of our guests gets to catch a variety of species using a variety of different techniques which are most likely completely new to them.

What makes us unique:

It doesn't matter whether your background is sea, coarse, or game and your usual quarry is Cod, Carp or Char because the wide variety of species available and the techniques we use to catch them will appeal to any angler of any genre. In addition, our fully-guided packages have been specifically designed to appeal and cater to both seasoned anglers and novices alike. We’ll get you out catching right from the start. What’s more, each and every tactic we employ will be thoroughly explained to you during the course of your fishing trips with your guides.

About our trips:

It's truly world-class. No doubt about it! King Salmon and Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) undoubtedly top the list as our dominant and most sought-after species, but the Niagara River and nearby Lake Erie are also home to the best Smallmouth Bass, Walleye (Zander), Yellow Perch and Muskie fisheries in the world. Having access to any one of those fisheries would be great in itself, but to have all of these “world’s best” fisheries on our doorstep is truly amazing.

Our history:

our guides and hosts for the week are myself, Joe O’Donnell, and my good friend and fishing partner John Scolaro.I was born in Manchester and raised practically on the beach in Knott-End-on Sea, on the North West coast of England, and have been a fishing fanatic since the tender age of 4. After nearly 20 years sailing(and fishing!) the world’s oceans as a marine engineer, both with the Royal Navy and in private yachts, and with 40 years of obsessive angling experience under my belt, I came to Canada in 1998 with the sole intention of setting up my own fishing resort.After discovering the phenomenal fishing to be found in the Niagara region, and being seduced by the sheer power and natural beauty of the Niagara River (much of it under my partner’s skilled guidance and tuition!).“Natural Wonders Angling Adventures” is the realization of my lifelong dream. My passion for fishing is perhaps matched only by my love of the water, the outdoors, and my dedication to ensuring that all our guests have a safe and truly memorable visit.
