About Us:

Pine Ridge is located in the forested hills of Southeastern Iowa. The 330 acres that is now a hunting preserve was once a cattle operations. This type of land is much better suited for hunting than for farming. This is the perfect setting for a few days away from the business life, relaxing in a no pressure part of the world. If you want to take the afternoon off you can visit the many Amish specialty shops that surround the beautiful country landscape. These shops specialize in handmade furniture, quilts, jams, and fresh bakery items. You may want to go fishing on one of our many farm ponds or nearby lakes, or make a day of upland bird hunting. We will help you customize your trip for a very memorable experience.

What makes us unique:

We offer trophy quality animals in the scenic, rolling hills of Southern Iowa. Open Meadows, hardwood forests with mixed areas of tall dark pine timbers. This is a unique opportunity to harvest a trophy animal with a 1 on 1 guide. You will enjoy home cooked meals and individual sleeping cabins. At Pine Ridge we emphasize individual attention and prefer to keep our hunting groups small. We offer quality not quantity.

About our trips:

All fair case Fallow Deer hunts will require a 50% deposit at the time you book your hunt, we will be glad to assist you in applying for your deer tag. There is a limited drawing for non resident tags; "you must apply." If you are unsuccessful in drawing an Iowa tag you may apply your deposit towards a whitetail hunt in our controlled hunt area; "no Iowa deer license is needed" or you can continue to apply for the next years tag. We will be offering a very limited number of fair chase hunts so you will want to plan ahead and book your hunt accordingly. Pine Ridge is a low profile, family owned operation that focuses on personal attention and low volume. The animals we hunt are from our sister operation, Wapiti Ridge, which has been producing alternative livestock for the past 10 years. Wapiti Ridge specializes in producing and selling breeding quality Deer and Elk. We have developed exceptional genetics and offer record book quality animals.
