About Us:

We are one of South Dakota's finest hunting lodges and with over 3800 private acres to hunt on you can be assured the only hunters in the field with you are the ones you brought. At Spring Lake Hunting Lodge and Resort we adhere to a higher standard of customer service and offer our hunters the amenities of the city in a relaxing rural setting. We have a beautiful 9 bedroom facility with private bathroom and shower facilites in each room along with satellite T.V. and wireless internet access.

Once you arrive at Spring Lake you will be amazed by our full service bar and restaurant which is where all your gourmet meals are served out of. What really seperates us from most other logdes is the quality of food we serve, the selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and our exceptional highly trained staff. The way we look at it its your vaction and we aim to make sure you get what you want and how you want it.

About our trips:

Our trips at Spring Lake can be comapred to few, as we have 3800 private acres of a variety of waterways, draws, shelter belts, grass land, CRP, cattail sloughs, cropland, food plots, and wetlands. What this means to the hunter is you only hunt with those in your group no matter how small the group and also that we offer you hunting on land that will better fit your experience level, as well as your mobility, and fitness levels. This helps to ensure both a safe and successful hunt. Of course after all that walking you need lots of good food to renergize which is why you are served right out of our gourmet restaurant.

Our history:

Spring Lake Hunting Lodge and Resort was built in the summer of 2002 this being our 6th hunt season coming up. The land however has been owned by Craig and Peg Sorenson since 1999 who are both from the local area and college graduates of SDSU.
