About Us:
Drift Away offers guided fishing trips on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. We will fish along the shores of two of Alaska's best fishing waterways: the Kasilof and Kenai Rivers. We specialize in fishing for king salmon and fly fishing for trophy rainbow trout. We also target silver and red Salmon, depending on the time of the season.

We put the extra effort in needed each day to provide a great service on and off the water. On the river we stay on the water to make the day of a life time happen for our clients. Off the river and in the office we provide a high level of customer service. We take the time to make sure our clients have all the information they need to understand the trip they are getting into. It is our duty to provide the best day on the water our cleints have ever had.
About our trips:
Our Alaska fishing trips set the client up for success. We provide top of the line rods, reels, bait, and tackle - coupled with expert knowledge of the rivers; a winning combination in Alaska. We take the hassle out of planning your trip. In addition to expert guiding service, our Alaska fishing trips include transportation to and from the Kenai or Kasilof rivers, passage aboard our 20 foot Willie drift boats, and instruction on various techniques. We specialize in half day and full day Alaska fishing trips, and offer lodging to accommodate multi day packages.
Our history:
Nick, Nigel, and Jeremy have been fishing together since 2003. 2008 is the 4th season of Drift Away Fishing. Before AK Drift Away Fishing, the boys worked for a local guide outfit out of Cooper Landing for a few years. They love to spread their passion of fishing the Kenai Peninsula and it is not uncommon for the boys to getg more excited then clients when a fish is on the line. We at AK Drift Away Fishing work hard all year long to continually improve the service we offer: world class guided fishing on some of Alaska's finest waters.
