When the first explorers arrived in Northern Canada, they discovered an area unlike any other place in the world. Astounded by the abundance of water and wildlife, this area soon became known for its rich fishing and hunting. Centuries later, Camp Grayling continues to maintain the untouched and serene environment that makes Northern Saskatchewan an outdoor paradise.
As one of the longest running fishing camps in Northern Canada, Camp Grayling invites you to come and experience what Northern Saskatchewan has to offer. Located on Black Lake and just a short distance from the outflowing Fond du Lac River, Camp Grayling is recognized as a world class fishing spot for trophy Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake Trout and Arctic Grayling.
Pike, the best fishing action Camp Grayling has to offer. Our location provides exceptional pike fishing. Sandy lakes with numerous weed beds grow trophy northern pike to unbeatable sizes. Pike up to 54" in length (35 lbs) have been caught and released. We catch over 100 pike a year above 42". Other lodges cannot beat our pike population. Walleye, can be found in most lakes in our area. Camp Grayling is on the northern limit for Walleye. The lakes further north are deeper and colder, and provide lake trout instead of walleye fishing. At Camp Grayling we are fortunate to have all four species on the same lake. Arctic Grayling, are only a short walk from camp at the outflowing Fond du Lac River. These acrobatic fish are fun to catch. Lake Trout, offer great fishing action. These fish can grow up to 50 lbs in size. The lake trout fishing is very good in June and September while they go deeper in the months of July and August.
We invite you to come and discover the phenomenal fishing, serene landscapes and superb hospitality that we have to offer. Join us at Camp Grayling for the experience of a lifetime!
